• Lead Teachers / Pedagogistas 
• Lead Assistant Teacher
• Assistant Teacher (ECT, non-ECT, Paid internships ) 

29.5 Weekly Hours   + 17.00$ – 21.00$ 

PART-TIME BENEFITS FOR CORE STAFF

• Over 3 weeks paid time off in a 9 month school year: Paid Jeffco district holidays: spring break, fall break, winter break, holidays (we need paid breaks to do this work!)

Lead Teacher General Responsibilities (ECT Qualified):
– Provide exceptional early childhood care and emergent curriculum, with the ongoing classroom support of Pedagogista’s / Master Teachers in both indoor and outdoor settings
– Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues using in-person and digital platforms
-With your Pedagogista, or Master Teacher,  develop and implement the use of invitations, invocations, and provocations to form  relationship-driven curriculum and experiencesImplement CO State licensing and safety requirements for childcare centers

– Professional and consistent collaboration with your Teaching team and leading Pedagogista to discuss: inquiry questions, research and documentation, learning stories, and reflections that impact indoor and outdoor environments, tools, experiences, and activities. 

Assistant Teacher Responsibilities:
– Provide exceptional early childhood care while supporting Teachers in facilitating various learning experiences 

-Supervision of students and their environments

-Implement CO State licensing and safety requirements for childcare centers 

-Collaborate with Lead Teacher’s and team members
– Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues using digital and in-person platforms.
-Maintain classroom and school tidiness 

General Requirements:
– Previous experience working with students in an educational setting
– Strong alignment with Mile Hi Children’s Enrichment Center’s values and principles.
– Ability to effectively manage time in a team environment that cares for young children and their families
– Excellent communication skills

-Technologically self sufficient in google drive, docs, forms etc. Ability to learn school platforms like procare or brightwheel.
– Passion and hunger for Early Childhood Education and what is possible for our world, children, and families.
