About Mile Hi Children’s Enrichment Center

– DESKTOP –

Welcome!

to the Mile Hi Children’s Enrichment Center! We are a tiny preschool cove nestled on the Mile Hi Church Campus. We co-create a small early childhood learning community with our families and children. Our focus is building upon, protecting, and deepening learner identities and emotional well-being.

A note from our school Director –

I know with deep conviction that the love , support , respect , and care I offer your family is the foundation of your child’s emotional well-being, learning identity, and self-understanding. I know that how your child is loved here will continue to serve as the foundation for all other learning, community, resilience, and relationship. I take this responsibility very seriously here at Mile Hi Children’s Enrichment Center, and well beyond. I continuously fight for early childhood and family community advocacy, research, and policies that will effect the trajectories of our children’s lives and well being – and our collective future.

This is a family community center of care, knowledge, and well-being that we all co-create, nurture, and grow in. The feeling of care that permeates MHCEC is not possible without the most dedicated and profound teachers. Our team is truly extraordinary. We are so happy you are here. Whether MHCEC is a good fit for your family or not, we want to support you on the journey of finding the right place.

Affiliation to Mile Hi Church

The principles of honoring and respecting the child’s individuality and their value in the collective community come from the root of Mile Hi Church’s philosophy which carries a devout respect and wonder for all religions, paths, people, experiences, and cultures that comprise our world. Our school’s ability to embrace and explore various early childhood philosophies coincides with our deepest held principals and the core values of our program and Mile Hi Church.

While the Mile Hi Children’s Enrichment Center has no planned curriculum for religion or spirituality, the religions and spiritually of our families are respected and woven into our community and curriculum.

“No one is special, and everyone is needed.”
